The Buckingham Apartments were built in 1920 for the Walkers (Walker Art Center). The building's beautiful courtyard entrance lead to the ornate lobby of an elegant residential hotel.

A restaurant and ballroom were once located in the lower level, and a limo service and laundry service (not included today) were available to serve hotel guests and visiting celebrities.

An extensive renovation has added urban comforts while maintaining the integrity of the original historic structure.

Today this 130 unit building has been refurbished into an attractive apartment complex. It features studios, efficiencies, 1 bedroom and 1 bedroom suite apartments. Rumor has it there is even a coveted loft inside.
