The Commodore Apartments, built in 1920, were originally constructed as a residential hotel.  The building even housed a lower level grocery store (featured in the Minnesota Historical Society).

Today The Commodore is a 40 unit apartment complex showcasing studios, efficiencies and one bedroom apartments.  Some apartments boast gourgious natural woodwork, and all studio apartments have a walk-in closet.
